PWRI1,PWT North Rumaila: Civi Land Team completed the Closed Drain Vessel Return pump (PW01-512-P012) (Vertical mounted pump):
Alignment was done by using dial indicator for both Face & Rim as there was no space to use SKF alignment laser kit.
Worked on measuring the distance between the ends of the shafts, we found that the measurement does not match (DBSE/141.21mm) and the required measurement (DBSE/140) according to the COUPLING DRAWING FOR PWT CLOSED DRAIN VESSEL RETURN PUMP, so we removed the Motor aside for the purpose of Hub moving to achieve the recommended distance and we completed this job successfully,
Shortening coupling spacer assembly by tightening pulling bolts to re-installing it between pump and motor. Then, it was required that pulling bolts to be removed.
Free & Final alignment of the Closed Drain Vessel Return pump was completed.
